ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Department of Psychology offers the Bachelor of Arts degree and a minor in Psychology. This program prepares learners for entry-level positions in the behavioral and social sciences, and graduate and/or professional-level study through excellent teaching and research training.Ìý

MISSION
The mission of the Psychology program is to prepare students to become psychologically literate citizens, ethical professionals and leaders in a dynamic society.Ìý

VISION
The Department of Psychology provides a sound foundation for scholarly pursuits and enhancement of knowledge, dispositions and skills for professional development.Ìý

  1. Provide a sound academic and intellectual foundation that reflects the application of content in a diverse society.Ìý
  2. Demonstrate leadership skills through academic inquiry, ethical, and professional practices and lifelong learning experiences.Ìý
  3. Prepare students for graduate and professional studies, and career choices in behavioral, social and STEM-related organizations.Ìý
